N&C Support Children Today
Nicholls & Clarke Group Chairman, David Forbes was approached by the Founder of Children Today, Hugh McCaW about family local to the N&C Head Office seeking fund raising for their son Moses.
Moses is a seven-year-old boy whose mum describes as a “cheeky chap” was in desperate need of donations to fund a life-changing trike. Moses, from Essex, has a rare genetic condition known as Cri-du-chat because infants affected by the syndrome often have a high-pitched cry that sounds like a cat. The condition, which is caused when a piece of chromosome 5 is missing, is characterised by delayed physical and mental development.
Moses requires the specialised adapted trike, so he could join his three-year-old brother and family on bike rides and to get some much-needed exercise. N&C instantly set out to raise donations with activities such as a sponsored penalty shoot out for customers and much more! watch this space for updates on the fundraising journey!
