Social Responsibility

Nicholls & Clarke understand the importance of involvement in both the local and wider communities that we operate in. As local employers, we engage in local events and fun days for the local communities. We offer trade days and technical seminars for the local trade, as well as engage in local and national sponsorships to support organisations such as the Disability Rights UK (DRUK) who are a national charity that ensures that standards are met. We also participate in local fundraising events to raise donations for families that require help in the local area through our nominated charity, Children Today.

Charity Fun Day at N&C Building Materials, Romford

Every year, we hold an annual event at our N&C Building Materials store in Romford, Essex and have done for over 8 years. This event is held to raise donations for our nominated company charity, Children Today. Children Today are a regsitered charity (Registered Charity No. 1137436) who help children and young people to enjoy a better quality of life through helping to fund families and individuals who require specialist equipment. Every year, a group of volunteers that work at N&C give up their free time to give back to the local community ensuring that a fun filled day is had by all. In the last few years we have managed to raise over £2,000 at every event which has chnaged the lives of lots of children and their families.
